Finding talented people, and developing and retaining them as they begin their careers is a key part of the future success of SIG.
As well as recruiting graduates directly into specific functional areas on a country-by-country basis, our international graduate programme provides successful applicants with greater insight and exposure across our whole business. Our International Graduate Programme is aimed at attracting high-calibre individuals who are capable of becoming our leaders of the future. It involves a number of rotations in different business areas and several development modules, supported by both internal and external development expertise. The programme has seen our international graduates complete overseas rotations in Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Poland, France, The Netherlands, Dubai and in the UK.
International Graduate Programme
We offer talented graduates a range of career paths, both in the UK and mainland Europe. SIG graduates gain experience across lots of different business areas, and are given real responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to work internationally.

What our International Graduates can expect:
Our international graduates have the opportunity to work across many functional areas and countries, supporting our business on a Group level. The programme involves completing a number of different rotations, working in areas such as procurement, finance, branch management, pricing and central services. This gives our graduates exposure to some of SIG’s key projects and initiatives, and an in-depth understanding of our business operations.
At least one of the rotations will take place outside of the graduates’ home country, providing the possibility of working across the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland and Benelux. Not only does this offer the opportunity to learn about the different cultures and ways of working across our business, it also gives the International Graduates the chance to further develop their language skills and help us build best practice across SIG.
